The Anarres Project joins a coalition of staff, student, and faculty organizations at Oregon State University in a teach in to honor National Adjunct Walkout Day on February 25, 2015.  The Walk Out Day is intended to draw attention to the working conditions of contingent faculty across the country.  At OSU, almost 75% of faculty employees are contingent.

The focus of the teach in will be to engage in a community dialogue about what social justice looks like from the standpoint of different groups that constitute the modern university.  The discussion will also examine the future of social justice at OSU and whether the institution appears to follow its own policies around inclusion, quality education, and the empowerment of students and workers.

The teach in is sponsored by:  Oregon State University-American Association of University Professors, Allied Students for Another Politics!, Coalition of Graduate Employees, Service Employees International Union, Mecha de OSU, and Intercultural Student Services.
